From The South
Follow the Captain Cook Highway north from Cairns and allow a minimum of one and a half hours travel time from Cairns to the Daintree River Crossing - longer if you intend to explore Port Douglas on the way. This is a stunningly beautiful scenic drive and well worth taking your time over.
To get to Daintree Manor from the south, you will need to cross the Daintree River on the cable ferry. The ferry operates from 6am to midnight seven days a week, and the fare for a private vehicle is $23 return or $46 for a 10 trip pass.
Once over the river, take the first turn left into Forest Creek Road, about 200 metres from the ferry landing. Daintree Manor is then 1.2km on the right.
